The gods of AF
Well this week was a good week as far as eating right and even working out go but AF came to hang around this week and she brought 3 extra pounds with her. Grrr! Oh well it is what it is. This week I will be working extra hard to insure that the 3 lbs she left here are gone come weigh in day plus I’m hoping 3 extra for a total of 6. I know that sounds high but if you average it out it only equals 1.5 for the week with AF and 1.5 for this week I'm working on.
So I wanted to show you guys my jar of motivation. Every piece of candy in here represents 1 pound lost. Right now i have 12 in there but I’m not removing 3 because it was an AF gain if however i gain real weight then I will remove candies. So here is to not gaining weight!!!

Week one has gone well! The shakes are great and Im trying new flavors all the time. I like to add a bit of Olvaltine to get a chocolate flavor and also adding 1 tbs of Nutella gives it a nice taste. I love that I can do different things with the shakes like use juice or water instead of milk.

Going Down Down Down
As you can see from the photo last week a great week. Anytime I drop just a tiny bit of weight is a great week.
What did I do?
I ate my points and just a few weekly points! I had all kinds of fresh fruits, veggies, whole grains...you know all the good for you stuff. But I also had some pizza, half a burger, and even some fries toped of by Weight Watchers chocolate strawberry ice cream bar.
What I did not do?
Exercise for at least 3 days. I will bet there guys. It will continue to be at the top of my goals list until I am consistent with it. Once i am consistent with working out weekly I incorporate P90X like I talked about earlier.
What I learned?
That if I stay within my points target and eat mostly food from the Good Healthy Guide Lines I will see results.
This week’s goals!
1). Drink 8 cups of water
2). Eat plenty of veggies
3). Exercise 3 days this week.

First Weigh In on Blogger
So here is this week’s weigh in. Well not officially. I weighed in yesterday 7/14 @ 266.6 but forgot to take a pic so this morning I stepped on the scale and it was a little lower so I’m still sticking with yesterday's weight for the week. This comes after a 12 pound weight gain while on vacation and my cycle. Officially i'm down 10.4 pounds. I would never expect to drop so much weight 1 one week but I this this was kind of special circumstances What I did this weekI ate all my points! And just a few activity points! I did 20 minute workouts over 2 days. And I even had a little to drink. Mike's Hard Lemonade has a lite line! Only 2PP for you Weight Watchers out there. My goal for this week is to stay OT, workout 3 days, and to make a list of goals. I would like to pick one goal to work on at a time so that I keep the weight loss journey healthy and realistic.

My 12 point lunch!
So I just had to come back today and post about my small victory! I should have snapped this pic b4 I started eating! My uncle took us to eat at a southern down home buffet and I picked the healthiest choices...every thing and I mean everything else was fried or smothered!!!!
Its a life style change
This picture was taken Christmas 2011 it’s one of the few full body shots I could find on my phone. I hate taking full body or even half body shots because of all the weight I have put on over the years. Year after year, month after month, week after week weight loss is on my mind but I’m always getting stuck. IF money is not an issue then time is. But I have had a wakeup call. In 2010 about one month before I found out I was pregnant my DH and I got a life insurance policy. It is so important for me to keep this policy I have let my cable and cell phone get cut off but I will not let this policy laps. Why? Because if something ever happens to me or DH I want that safety net in place. It’s enough money to pay cash for a home and even have extra to invest or go to school. So if it’s so important for that policy to be in place to have money to take care of our son in the event of a tragedy then I need to think the same way about my health and fitness goals. I would rather pay for a gym or Weight Watchers membership than have cable. And health food could be affordable if I stop eating out all the time. My husband and I spend at least $15 every time we hit the drive thru, and now out little one is eating table food so that’s and extra $3. It’s starting to be just as costly to eat crappie as it cost to eat right so now I just have to take the time to plan our meals and daily activities. I look forward to blogging about this journey and I hope you come back to read my updated. I have so much going on right now. I’m a wife, a mother of 1, and now DH and I are working on a small business project in addition to working fulltime as the graphic designer(s) for a local funeral home. I have determined that no matter how great the demand is on my I have to carve out some time to work on me. I work at a funeral home for Gods sake!!! I don’t work with the bodies bet I help do the graphics for all the people that pass through out back door. I know that there are 1001 ways to die but I just don’t want to die by the food I eat or the potato sitting on the couch! Currently I’m a member of WW online and work out at a gym for 30 minutes 3 days a week but I’m bumping it up on pay day I’m ordering P90X. I’m assuming that August 1, will be the start on my 90 day journey but that depends on how long the shipping takes. I’m doing things one step at a time and plan on having challenges along the way. Currently I’m drinking about 2 Cherry Coke Zeros a day but I’m working on drinking more water and moving down to 1 soda a day. So join me on this journey called life!
